Learning Objectives

  1. Immersive experience in Silicon Valley, the most important and famous entrepreneurial ecosystem in the world to better understand the dynamics of the global cradles of innovation through study, practice and visits. 

Learning targets

  1. The study tour will give the student the incredible opportunity to understand how and why the Bay Area has become not only the most famous Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in the world, but also the longest running and the most important reference point for the other Entrepreneurial Ecosystems in the world.
    The student will analyze and “breath” the peculiar startup business model of the Bay Area and The way of doing business in Silicon Valley.

    The tour, organized by Prof. Marco Astuti, includes visits to some of the most innovative and famous firms, startups and university of the world, such as:

    • Linkedin
    • Nebbiolo Technologies
    • Tooso
    • Juniper Networks
    • Plug&Play
    • Apple
    • Berkeley University
    • Stanford UniversitySLAC - Stanford Linear Accelerator Center). Visit of the Control Room

    • BeaconForce ( People Management Platform)
