ROLES THROUGH THE YEARS Since November 2015: President of the Advisory Board of Eumetra Monterosa From May 2012 to October 2015: Honorary President, GfK Eurisko From 2006 to April 2012: President and Managing Director, GfK Eurisko From 1980 to 2006: Managing Director, Eurisko From 1972 to 1980: Research director at Eurisko September 1972: Co-founder of Eurisko September 1968 - July 1972: social researcher at Marketing Italia From 1978 onwards teaching roles (for social and marketing research) in various universities MORE PARTICULAR AREAS OF EXPERTISE (MANAGEMENT ROLES) From 1972 worked at the head of a company (Eurisko) - initially in a more informal capacity, but later occupying specific roles (MD) - leading it from an original staff of 7 to the 380 employed in 2012; also handled two mergers with small Italian research firms (in 2005 and in 2009) that belonged to the international GfK network, after Eurisko had itself joined this network. Led Eurisko towards its eventual leadership position in the sector in Italy, in terms of both turnover and image rating. Was involved, in November 2015, in the launch of Eumetra Monterosa, a new-generation start-up formed to conduct research into the changing social scenarios and trends furthered by new approaches to sustainability. Has always been recognised for outstanding achievements in the field of innovation, for pioneering technological solutions (most often devised from scratch in-house) and for significant contributions on a cultural level. RESEARCHER EXPERIENCE Graduated in Economics and Business (1968) at Università Cattolica, Milan. Personally developed Italy’s leading social survey (Sinottica), a national benchmark for analysing social evolution and defining media strategies. Coordinated development of highly innovative electronic tools for passive recording of media exposure (using Media Monitor metering) and online research systems (including Eurisko’s proprietary Dialogue tablet, the first of its kind in Italy). |
