ACCOMODATION

On Campus
"Residenza Universitaria Carlo Pomini"
The campus has 252 rooms available for students. Rooms are double with en-suite bathroom, television, a mini fridge and telephones with an outside line.
A small number of single rooms are available and you may indicate this preference on your application form. We are unable to meet all requests for single rooms if demand is high. Notification of room allocation will be given in July. If a single room is not available, you will be automatically allocated a double room.
The Campus has computer facilities and students need to obtain an ID code from the reception to access this service. Moreover, all the rooms are connected to the university internet network, so if you bring your own lap top, ensure you also have an Ethernet card that allows you to
configure your computer.
Communal kitchen facilities are available on second and third floors and keys are kept at the reception. Kitchens have a microwave, hotplates, sinks and cupboards. You are required to provide your own cooking
equipment and store it in your room.
The campus also has a laundry room where students can wash, dry and iron their clothes. Machines are coin-operated.
You have also the chance to rent a bike through the Housing Office, (monthly rent: 15.00 Euros).

Monthly rent for a campus room per person in 2005/2006 was as follows:
Single room               548 Euros
Double room             390 Euros
Deposit                      250 Euros
Alternatively students can choose to rent a room with half board and the monthly rent is:
Single room               723 Euros
Double room             565 Euros

For further information on accommodation please refer to our web site  www.liuc.it under the section “international student”.

Off Campus
Students are free to make their own housing arrangements, but we draw your attention to the fact that it is almost impossible to find apartments for short-term contracts (minimum lease is one year).
There is a notice board in the university courtyard advertising available accommodation.
